Simple Vegan Matcha Latte

I love a good matcha latte! I love it even more when I make it myself, know exactly what’s in it, and save my 5 bucks. It’s very simple to make with just a few ingredients.


2 tsp matcha powder (I use Matcha Love

2 tbs hot water

1 C non-dairy milk of choice (I use almond milk)

1 tsp agave or 6 drops of liquid stevia

(image above has not been stirred yet… but it looks cool for the photo, doesn’t it? 😉)


-In a small bowl, mix matcha powder and hot water. Whisk thoroughly until mixture is smooth

-Fill your glass or mug with heated almond milk then mix in the sweetener

-Pour matcha mix over the almond milk and stir lightly

-optional: sprinkle with ground cinnamon.

-other optional: on warm days, pour over ice and enjoy cold!
